Apart from not raising preflop, was post flop OK?
Its difficult to play a medium strength hand OOP and I didnt know if he had a draw or a pair.
Should I just play passively by calling flop, cfolding turn and ccalling river?

I think peeling flop is OK but I definitely wouldn't c/r the flop. You have decent showdown value and an OK draw. There is no need to turn it into a bluff. If this guy fires the 7h turn then it's an easy fold. Also c/c this river was horrible, you have to give up if he calls the turn.

i also dislike chek raising the flop- because it turns your hand into a bluff. i think chek call has much more value and will lead to easier
decisions on turn and river.

if you c/r flop make it much bigger, like 18

c/r flop is pretty bad though, your hand has too much showdown value and multistreet bluffs are pretty rare on a board like this. just call and if he keeps betting then it's an ez fold unimproved
