not enough people died in T3, unlike the new rambo which was a bloodbath. They need to get into that hardcore kill em all mode

idk about the terminator sequels beyond T2...

The themes and plot of T2 was tied up so beautifully at the end, there was no need to touch the franchise except to generate $$$. Part of the major theme was "fate doesn't exist, all that matters is what you make of your life, what you fight for", which imo meant we're supposed to sit back and think to ourselves whether or not judgment day would come. It's also challenging us to live our real lives carefully so that such a situation never occurs (doesn't have to be with terminators, it could be anything like creating an uncontrollable bio-weapon, or grey goo theory with nano-machines, it even applies today with global warming and exhausting natural resources like fossil fuels).

Unfortunately, T3 sucked. The fucking gay thing about T3 is it basically goes against that message of T2, and sends the shallow (and not true) message that judgment day was/is inevitable.

T4 will probably suck too due to the fact there's also a TV series now...The worst thing is, subsequent Terminator material will tarnish the brilliance of T2 (I don't rate T1 that highly tbh, its still better than T3 and TV show though).

Maybe T4 COULD end up being a pretty entertaining popcorn flick but I doubt it will have a significant deeper meaning like T2 did. However, most likely it will just shit all over the greatness of T2 just like T3 did.

T1 was a more serious movie than T2 imo... had some flaws only because special effects weren't as good as now but still great. T2 was already sort of a parody but nevertheless one of the most entertaining movies ever

seriously trying to see a deeper meaning in Terminator is kind of retarded "zomg there is no faith we can change it"... seriously if we go like that we can conclude that in Back to the Future ROFL, these movies are made to enjoy actually they ban be really good but not in a deep way but in a really good direction, entretaining etc, not eveything has to be poetry in motion to be good, however T3 is cheesy predictable and trashy, the robot feelings part was scratched in T2 but in a very nice way when he suicides but in T3 is just stupid, also it has to be said the the terminator girl was pathetic, yeah she was hot (and that was one of the hooks) but what the fuck it makes no sense she is no threatening she is the least scary terminator since T1.

there's a difference in the theory of time travelling between the first two movies

in the first one we get the idea that space and time create a loop and things are destined to be the way they are
and no other way,sort of like the 12 monkeys movie

in the second one they do change the future so it all makes no sense because now how the fuck was the protagonist born if his mother didn't fuck with his future friend etc etc
this can only be explained by the "multiple realities" theory used in the back to the future sequels which pretty much sucks imo,implying that the time traveller switches between parallel universes or something.

in the third one... well who gives a shit about the third one anyway :/

they should make "Commando versus Rambo"
