Who of you plays?
How often?
Where do you play?
Do you have your own set of clubs? If so, which clubs.
Whats your HCP?
Have you got coaching? If yes, how much did it cost.

Famous poker players who play golf.
Interesting stories about golf in general or golf related hustle and propbets.

I have played 4 times, i took a course where i got taught the rules and the basics of golfswings.
I got my greencard and i live near a golfcourse so i plan on playing a lot in the future.

I used to play golf up at Kingswood Park in Canada, pretty fun but stopped the last few years because of school and work. I was good friends with all the local pros so lessons were free and worked at the course so everything else was also free. Own ping irons, titleist driver and woods, cleveland wedges, titleist putter. All pretty standard. Never won any tournaments and only mediocre handicap of 6. Golf is fun but it is like a constant self induced poker downswing, where your play is never as good as you want and you can't stop playing if you have the time but going driver, wedge, eagle putt is like the same feeling afterwards that you get flopping a set and stacking someone's AA.

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

I think unless you put some money on it it might be the most boring game ever.

Iv worked at our local golf club now for 3 seasons. One whole season while i had a year of from school, the other two seasons i only worked during the most busy part of the season when i have vacation from school. I tok the greencard my first year working there, and bought some half set of our pro.

I rarely play, as once you work there. Its not so tempting to start walking 18 holes after work or something. But i do try and practice atleast once a week, and maybe just go the first 4 holes. Was hoping to acctually go a cuple of whole rounds this year with some of the guys from work. I need some counting rounds so i can get past the greencard and down to HCP rankings. We normaly have some small inhouse tournaments between us who work there. But we are to busy this season, so we'll see what happens.

Australia is a great place to play golf. Where I live there's 10 or so courses alone.

For the most part it's really cheap and accessible, so I try play as often as I can. My clubs were the best impulse buy ever.

I'm still not so good. I average around 96 a round with my best score a 91.

I play 3-4 times a week, at local courses and in my dad's league

My irons are TaylorMade Rac Pro Combo irons, nike wedges, scotty cameron putter, Sasquatch sumo driver (the one that is not square), Titleist 3 wood and taylor made 5 wood

My handicap is 4-5

Lessons are 60 an hour but if you get to know the golf pros you usually get a discount. Biggest thing to stay good is if you live in a place that has snow join a winter program at a dome.

In a high school golf match I almost knocked myself out playing golf. Tried to hit between some trees, my ball hits a tree and is coming right back at my head. I was thinking to myself "oh shit that might hit me" but I did'nt think to move, right before it hits me I finally duck and it grazes the top of my head.

I doubt you would been knocked out, just a headache and a bump.
