I do shove about 90% of the time in this situation
what made me lean towards call was bigstack in SB who might call or squeeze

bigstack isn't going to squeeze/call any hands that he isn't calling your shove with. |

You guys a bit results oriented ? I think is play is ok, i'd agree with you if he was in EP or MP but on the button is pretty nice, sb and bb will never squeeze with marginal hands considering his stack and he has position on villain who will 100% cbet any flop. Stop and Go is perfect here imo to insure a full double up. I think that hand is 100% standard and too bad villain flopped the nuts but what can you do ? |

If you think this hand is 100% standard then you need to learn some things about tournaments and stack sizes.
also, this isn't a stop and go. A stop and go is when you are oop, call and shove any flop.
Jamming pre is best bc even tho you think you are getting a cbet 100% and 'always' doubling through its just not true. There will be flops that he just c/f's to you because obv. you are gonna be committed after calling 40% of your stack pre. If you jam pre he is going to have to call. |

We all have to learn about poker every day Red, but i'd like to have your point about this, a big stack is on the co and raises and we assume he has a very wide stealing range. Now let's say we shove and he calls, that's what we want obv, but what if he's stealing and fold to the push ? If we flat here and he gets a piece of the flop we can get extra chips, we are shoving any flops anyway no matter what.
Also if we assume he's on a pure steal, he'll be folding a fair amount of the time to a shove while allowing him to see a flop might be much more profitable. And i don't agree with you when you say he's committed, 30k chips is more than 25% of his stack and if we have been playing pretty tight he could easily find a fold. I think that kind of play is more profitable because we are in a co vs button situation and we assume his range is wide.
I don't hate this line, if you do, please explain me why

sheitan - even if he is "stealing" he should be calling due to pot odds alone given that he has to call 30k to win a bunch.. if we had 15bb or something with a bit of fold equity we can flat but he shouldn't be folding any of his steal range since it will have decent equity against or range of what consists like A8+, KJ+, and pairs. |

opponent is never raise/folding 3 bbs and folding for 6 more, plus the dead money from blinds/antes. |

46k to call in a 72500 pot, so he's getting 1,57 to 1, these are not great odds and more than 25% of his stack is on the line. I'd think twice before calling someone given odds with KTs imo. If he was getting more than 2 to 1 i agree that would be an automatic call, it would also be automatic if you suspect a resteal or if we have been very active or doing the same thing a couple of time. Do you guys think 1,57 to 1 is a snapcall with KTs ? |

This is completely wrong. 500 chip antes x 8 = 4k, +15k raise + your 15k + 5k bb = 39000 + your raise of 30856 = 69856 pot, 30,856 to call = over 2 to 1. |
