Villain is running 25/13.5/1.7 over too small sample to be useful (only 50 hands). My feel for him was much more aggro than the stats suggest. I had the feeling he had reraised more often than raised, perhaps giving me this impression.

My trouble here is that I have second pair, ok kicker, his flop bet looks v weak, I call intending to float, he checks I bet - wham. With no history I can't put him on any sensible range and the c/r on the turn stinks to me.

What to do here. Not having enough stats to give a good read and only having a feeling of over aggression this has to be a fold? I should have raised his weak flop bet or was the idea to float ok? Given that I flatted the flop is the turn bet too weak?

i would raise that small donkbet on the flop, probably around 6. You have no idea about his hand's strength, your hand's strength compared to his. If he calls flop, we can safely check/fold, or try to get a cheap showdown.

As played, why would u bet the turn? U turn your hand into a bluff, when you have showdown value. Just check behind, and maybe call a small river bet.
Now u can't call, u beat nothing, fold.
/ofc, i might be completely wrong about this ^^/

u got someone to call u with second top pair in headsup?
