I wouldn't call pre.

having called pre, it's too late to fold, so don't be a pussy.

the 99 hand seems fine

obv fold pre as asdf said but after seeing the previous hand, there's no way im considering folding tptk in a rr'd pot against an opponent who could possibly be on tilt

i'd flat turn and snapcall a shove on any river

iamalex: lol what if you were cursed by a mummy to never win showdowns. you could only play fold equity. that would suck man

I like flatting aswell.

I haven't played him in a while, and his game might have changed but the alainlapaire that I know rarely multi barrels a bluff. In fact, I can't remember ever seeing him triple barrel bluff. I guess he might be on tilt from the last hand, but I find it hard to believe that this particular villain would double barrel this turn being this deep without a hand that has us crushed. Since we have Ac, he can't even have backdoored a flush draw with AcKc. In fact, I think the history of what happened the hand before with the mid pair would make it more unlikely that this villain plays a midpair this aggressively again. call me a pussy but being this deep and with my read on this villain, I'm folding this turn, even as played.

just flat call

JohnnyMoss   . Jul 02 2008 03:03. Posts 246

the problem in this hand is that they both are 200BB deep...i like flat calling

sawseech   Canada. Jul 02 2008 03:26. Posts 1675

why would he be on tilt after a perfectly normal hand?

it needs more pods.

i rly dont expect a solid player to run a big bluff after getting stacked the previous hand and would be inclined to fold the turn

I'd fold too, but I think it's better to fold pf.

Ez fold pre imho, he won't stack off with a dominated hand, so you have to flop very well and have him get in 200+ BB which will rarely happen with AJo. You have no idea where you stand on the flop and get into this exact spot. I fold turn and curse myself for the illogical decisions I made throughtout the hand.

If he is on a tilt its better to jut call turn in case of getting more money on the river. In this scenario I would fold turn, but I would fold pre flop.

i hope I'm not the only one who thinks a fold in the first hand is the better play. And I usually check back the turn because we beat AK and 88...not much else.

and i don't like the call pre in hand 2. AJo is too hard to play for value 200bb deep. As played just fold, find a better spot. Regs tilt sometimes but I'd just rather not mess with them unless I see them tilt a lot.

Logiabs~   Colombia. Jul 03 2008 12:16. Posts 9133

yea obv first hand is a fold because you're not doing well against his range at all, alainpaire is such nit, unless he had been playing back at you a lot and 3betting liek a whore which i doubt so because i see him 3betting very rarely
