the goal of the small c/r is most likely to induce a shove from the shortstack. you can tell he is not afraid of a turn so i think on the flop he really can only have the nut flush. i like how u played this.

against most players my standard would be to flat and shove any spade turn but hmmm, that looks pretty nutty on the turn so i'd just call i guess

against some players you can fold on the flop

against players like needfood you can just get it in on the flop

back on hand, i percieve NeedFood as a nit but who finds stupid spots to spew (kind of like PiS.ToTo, but not as spewy) i would insta-get it all in if it were a heads-up put against him but his line is too weird, i didnt think about semiblufing a spade turn, sounds interesting but i really dont think he is underbetting the spade turn to fold to a shove, it looks like the flopped nut flush, and i think its confirmed on the river.

When I look at this hand, I somehow feel that: Either you should push flop or you should fold, if you think you are behind often enough not to make the push +EV.
(of course, I am a swedish agg. disaster and would push this 95% of the time )

I would instashove flop everyday of the week unless you are absolutely sure that your reasoning/read is correct: If you are correct he can only hold overset or the flush, and you are behind either way!

Your flopcall represent a strong flushdraw or combodraw and thus, he is not likely to bluff you on later streets if the flush hits the table (at least not two streets).
Thus, you can be rather certain that he either flopped the nuts or hit it on turn and you should accordingly call turn and fold river.

This is not about my image, i play arround 32/24 so thats not the issue, rather than NeedFood plays nitty and transparent and his raise ammount with a shortstack in looks like he wants the money in and probably isnt afraid of a turn.

In the past i saw needfood spewing in random spots, but lately ive been making a couple of speculative calldowns to see what he has and he has me beat every time and he plays with his hand on his forehead, now that i have that info i think its a FOLD on the flop, however when this hand happened i didnt have that strong read.

70% beat on the flop, 80% beat on the turn, 100% beat on the river.
