yea if he has any pocket pair hed probably be check calling you all the way if blank cards keep dropping

anyways about your question, turn comes deuce which shouldnt change anything so if he checks and you bet your probably getting snap called again with any pocket pair or if he has anything big your getting reraised all in(which is probably wat happened and u folded)

if he bets turn asaply fold but the biggest mistake you made was betting the flop, check behind him and shoot your tester bet on the turn if he checks it again if you want but id be checking this hand all the way to the end and fold to any riv bet, playing hands like this early is np but getting overcommited in pots like this for no reason isnt

I would bet this flop if checked to me, with a slight pause, and bet 85% of the pot. It draws a fold most of the time. If he raises, I'd fold. If he calls, and the turn is a blank, I would give up on the hand (check, fold to a bet). He probably has A/7 here and likely to take your chips.
