Wasn't 100% sure about my river raise, I ended up raising it planning on folding to a shove or aggression of any form.
Villain was ~ 40 - 4 - .9
Do we flat call?

why would you call turn?? you want the money in man..
Raise turn , shove river these small donkbets are never strong hand

AA is only a pair MUPPET - the guy who cracked my AA calling AI pf with QJ

thats not very good advice, look at villains stats... 1/2 pot aggression on turn looks like a pair+draw or better
called to evaluate river, thus raising and folding to a shove.

other op plz

Without putting it so blunt I agree with Chroma. I pot flop since it's drawy like shit and he got a VPIP of 40 meaning he could have called preflop with any retarded hand that made gutshot or better here, on the turn it totally blanks off, not saying his 1/2 pot bet is never a big hand but I don't like giving draws a ''free'' river to get there and he can easily have some pair that he decided to bet for whatever reason.

I like your reasoning on the river but I think you can apply it to the turn just as easily... raise his bet and if he 3-bets he probably spiked a set or 2-pair hand and you can let it go there, right now you're planning on giving the possible draws a free river and still pay it off on the river if he bets there so why not take (in my opinion) the better option.

If that wasn't enough I think this player can still have some hand he would call a raise with on the turn giving you more value but would check down on a river when a flushdraw or whatever hits totally killing your action because you presume you're never good (most of the times rightfully so).

My line: pot flop, raise turn about potsize and contemplate a smallish bet on a brick river that he can call off with some Qx/6x or some pocket pair in between.
