Once again, I don't have poker tracker but the deep maniac raises like 40% of hands and plays more than 50% of pots, he 3 bets extremely light and calls 3 bets extremely light (Just a couple of hands ago he called 3 bet with 23 and hit a FH on the flop stacking off vs AA). No real info on the shortsack, but I decided to flat the maniac's RR because im ahead there an enormous % of the time, but didn't reraise because I'm so deep (I do not know if this is flawed reasoning).

Anyways I donkbet with the nuts because maniac calls me light all the time and gives me 0 respect, the main problem is the shortstack calling as well. Because of the weird preflop action and also being OOP and very deep, what would the best line of action be?

Edit: I just noticed that the "shortstack" wasn't actually a true shortstack, he probably bought in full and lost a pot without reloading. Not sure if this matters.

So even on such a board that can't really hit any of their ranges except overpairs (would probably reraise if this was the case) and flush draws, I should keep barrelling?

Not to be result oriented, but what happened in the hand was I bet $5 on the turn, maniac folded, shortstack goes AI for 0.2$ more, I call and suck out a 4 on the river and he shows K7hh (wtf).

Considering that you weren't the preflop reraiser and you have relative position on him, checkraising doesn't seem bad either (as their 3-betting range is generally very thin - unless he's a nutjob). Checking to preflop reraiser and letting him bet will get the third guy in too and you'll get more money in with the nuts before you have to worry about anything. They'll call with the flush draw no matter what, but the more you get in before they hit the better it is.

I'd bet here on turn too obviously.

I'll go ahead and nitpick for a second here: I think if you're going to donkbet and expect to be called, might as well go pot (or more T_T).

I played I lead turn.

Thanks everyone, and I agree, check raising here would be much better on the flop because even though the maniac will snap call with any 2 overcards (or pretty much anything), he will also probably cbet this.

Yup check/raise flop and get it in

Odds are exactly 50%, either happens or it doesnt
