A few people have been throwing around the rumor that UB's expected to shutdown within 8-12months. Anyone else heard about this? I've been getting emails/phone calls from them asking me to redeposit and they're offering me some really good tourney entries if i do. (~600$ value), but I want to be cautious sinvce what happened to everyone's money on the last site that closed.

plus if ever they do shutdown i'm sure it is temporary to fix some site issues... and it's gonna come out better for the players and UB... looking forward to play there soon...

Is there anything to back up your rumor? Probably just speculation, haven't heard anything such from anywhere else.

I doubt it. They are likely making pretty decent money with all the advertising they do.

But make sure that you know the terms on your credit card. I got charged $20 by my credit card company for "cash advance" when i put money on UB :

"If you deposit the
$15K via Money bookers or Neteller, I will give you a better deal than what
I told you earlier today.
This is what you will receive to deposit $15K via debit card.

$100 cash bonus
$1000 pending
2 free seats on the $20K Guaranteed Tournaments that has a buy in of $129
each.
4 free seats on the $200K Guaranteed Tournaments that has a buy in of $215
each.

But then if you deposit via Money bookers or Neteller I will give you a
better deal.

Please go ahead and deposit the $15K, reply to the email and I will take
care of the rest.

I'm not sure if i want to take their promo, play the tourneys, take the cash and withdraw after a few weeks so its not too bait... anyone have ne opinions.... bad idea/ no problem/obv its free monies?

I'm pretty confident there are no superusers now that they've upgraded software

seems very unlikely that they just shut down,
if anything their traffic & users would just be bought by another operator.
