i have the same problem for a very long time and i can't correct it:

ex:
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/468121
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/468122

i can't fold when i have 'ok hand' and i put someone on bluff and call like some retard. now i stepped back to NL100 ( from NL400 ) and i still do it the same way......

obv i make this thread cause i'm in the tight corner

anyone had this problem and dealt w/ it? how? what should i think when i'm in those kind of situations to MAKE MYSELF FOLD? when im in that moment i think that i can be beat, but i also think he can be bluffing or do it w/ worse. and when i do this kind of errors i'm not on tilt, i just play my 'normal' game.

wat

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

Just categorise people into "good players", whom you are allowed to call down if it's a good spot to bluff and "God damn nits" who you should never call down without the nuts. It has helped me A LOT.

For me, this has been an experience thing. The 10000th you make a bad call down it kinda makes you think. Or you could just play HU where being a station is a virtue.

what wackass site is this nigga?

personally i don't mind folding. it encourages people to keep bluffing you and that's one of the ways you make most of your money in this game. you want them to call you down with shit, and to bluff you with airball constantly

One day good. One day bad. And some days, even hope

foldings for pussies

The probability of someone watching you is proportional to the stupidity of your action.

What I try to do is to think about what my opponet can have for a hand and if I can beat that hand.
