I overbet the flop with the thought that it was the way to maximize his CS value as he called a very large % of flop bets, rarely raised and liked to get more aggressive on the turn/river but still preferred check call (obvious with stats I guess). Of course the trouble is when he called I still had no idea where I was....

Turn - overbet again - expecting call with Ax, any pair, any draw.

Not sure with this raise I could put him on anything except Ax or small pp - either probably have me in trouble.

Should I have played this differently Vs villain with these stats? How do you get away from situations like this? Am I a donk for overbetting when I expect a call with a wide range putting myself in a tougher spot when he hits?

Should I be less greedy and try to take his money in smaller chunks or get it before someone else does?

shove and get payed off by A2, A5-AQ, get stacked by A3 and A4, 33,44, 52. Since his paying off range is much wider than his winning hands I get it in here. I like the idea of overbetting against a sick station that will call anyway.

He might even pull a bluff here because they think that a 2nd pair Ace turning makes it less likely for you to hold one and/or he is trying to "represent" an ace for him self.

with that much money invested you cannot fold in my opinion.

money won is twice as sweet as money earned.

i think hes not giving u credit for AK or AQ in the flop duee to your overbet
overbettin is prefectly fine if he will call, and please raise more pf (about 13$ at least, that pretty small, considering there is a mini rasie and a call)
shove and ship it imo, with those stats he can be raising any Ax, or some medium pp like 66-TT

Thanks for comments. Glad you to hear you would do the same - just wondered if I could play it any differently.

I shipped it - he flipped over 44 for the FH. Wasn't surprised but was still pissed of course.....
