3bet me once? with what frecuency lol it could have been once in like 200 hands, the called my 3bet with A6s is important, he might be fishy since he is so nitty ur 3-betting range should crush his range but he also didnt 4-bet it, and he is a total nit.
imo its imposible to say if this is a good fold unless we knew the flow of the game to get a grasp of how frustrated was he. |

haha yeh, true. well i had only started my session for about 5-10 mins or so
and with the "3 bet me once" note i just write it down everytime they 3bet my steal so on the 3rd time they try it i 4 bet them to "redeem" the money
if i had PT3 and the 3bet / 4bet stats that would help alot, oh well
but i thought he would probably 4 bet with a wide range here like TT+, AJ+, since my raise looks kind of squeezish. idk |

i hate this. 3 betting u once isnt enough to shove this. how did he 4bet u the first time? what amounts and what positions were u both in? |

Also if he's a regular that plays with u a whole lot its fine to get out of line once in awhile and felt it preflop with marginal hands like AQ for 1buyin. For a long long time he'll think ur crazy and think about that 1hand when he makes decision in similiar spot |

There is too little info to get in pf here with AQ |

Because you are in bad shape vs the range he calls with, you have to be sure that he does this as a bluff often enough and that he might do this with 88-JJ. Since you dont know any of that its pretty bad to shove here imo. |

Well for one thing his 4bet is big, so if hes folding hes losing alot of equity. That being said he might feel comitted to call a push with alot of his 4bet range say 99+, AJ+. the more he folds the better you do because hes giving up equity unless hes calling with weaker aces.
Basically if hes already 4bet you once in 5-10 minutes at the table his range seems really wide, meaning hes either folding alot or getting it in with worse, so I don't mind a push here. |

oh, well i had only just started this particular session so the notes were carried over from the previous day or so
but i basically only take notes of if villains 3bet or 4bet if its in a sensitive situation, eg Button vs Big Blind/Small Blind, where both ranges are wide normally. if he 3bets my utg raise, or something like that, then i dont note it since its 99% for value.
so my interpretation of my notes is that he 3b me once when i tried to steal his blind, and he 4 bet me when i 3bet his steal once. basically taking a note that he isn't afraid to play back at me.
but in this particular session (only 30 or so hands into it) i couldnt recall 3 betting him up to this point. |

ok well it doesnt seem like u have a good indication of frequency from the last session, and from this session u have no info so if hes comitting 25% of his stack pf I'd just let him have this one, but watch him closely and take better notes on how often he 4bets and makes other aggresive moves so I can react better in the future. |
