No, I don't like it. Just because we know almost exactly what his hand is does not mean he is going to fold it, and we would need a much stronger read on villain. If he calls the flop, he's going to hero the turn with any pocket pair far too often.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

i dont like it too esp with the timing tell of yours - slow bet on flop insta shove on turn is just not good if you are bluffing..

if he doesnt respect your bet on flop in 3bet pot then he sure isn't going to respect your shove on that turn IMO.

I like it. You can be pretty sure he doesnt play AA-QQ like this. I would expect his range to include like 99 as well, and you have decent equity if called.

Personally would far from suggest making these kind of assumptions without reads

The fact of the matter is, there are generally going to be VERY few hands less than AQ-high that call a bet on this Flop (basically just J9 on this Flop in particular) and then the Turn card is about as scary as a 6-year old in a halloween costume

You can do some stoving with what your equity is when called against his range of like (44, 77+, JT, AT) and then figure out how often you figure to get a fold out of (55-99) and then how often you figure to get a fold out of (JJ-QQ (LOL)). Obviously weight the ranges accordingly, if you feel that he's more likely than not to be putting in a raise with AA/KK on the Flop etc.

i think this thought process is good if our opponent is a smart thinking player but with the limited reads we have on villain, we can't ever expect him to fold 99, let alone 77-55, which is what i think his range mostly consists of

i check the flop and if he checks back then i can bet turn / shove river, which i expect to be slightly more effective than bet flop / shove turn.

if he bets flop i might c/c and lead the turn, but might c/f, depends on player

What hasn't been mentioned yet:

You squeezed OOP and he called a huge 3bet. To me this screams JJ+ willing to felt it on raggy flops such as these. Would like it a lot more on K turn (obviously we are shoving with A and Q turns).

I would just check the flop and hope he checks back. Check/call on flop and leading turn is terrible.
