i think the bottom line is ive been put into a lot of marginal situations against people i know nothing about and unfortunately i feel i have to assume in most cases the average nl25 player is not holding the nuts

sorry i just get thrown off so badly i.. its only been like 500 hands and ive swonged so much already

(WARNING: lots of hands ensue!)

Hand #8 is fine, nothing you can do about it, the QQ hand is fine, and others you tilted pretty bad IMO.
Hand #4, Check/call flop, check/raise turn is almost always a set, esp since that flop is so dry.

Don't understand why you're posting hands where u got it in a clear favorite. Who folds top set?

A lot of these hands are beluga theorem. In general c/c, turn c/r is the nuts against most people.

#2: Never is this a draw. I expect to see here 54 or a set almost 100%.
#3: bad beat
#4: same as #2, might be AT, JJ-KK so call is not too bad.
#5: scary board for QQ, especially against an opponent who has such a wide range. This line looks familar, doesn't it? Fish play their hands face up, every single of them. They didn't bluff you once. As soon as you understand this, you will crush nl25.
#6 see #5: Dont like this line, you are behind AK, AQ, a set, JT...
#7 good fold
#8 bad beat, dont post.

money won is twice as sweet as money earned. Last edit: 16/05/2008 16:58

ok, i clearly need to learn to fold is all. but i am still being stubborn in thinking when people hit such an obscure draw .. like when a guy draws at a 2-4 outer on the flop or turn and hits it, even if i pay him off every time he makes it, hes still losing money in the longrun, isnt he? i mean unless we're like 300BB deep on both of our stacks, which we never are

depends on how much money there is behind (implied odds).

money won is twice as sweet as money earned.
