Anyway beware that taxis in France are super expensives and will try to scam you if they realize you're a foreigner (which will be quiet ez if you say Marc is in the refrigerator), ask first for a price (in english) or:"C'est combien pour aller a Cannes ?". Also if you see a super hot chick you can tell her:"Yo mademoiselle tu es super charmante, ca te dirais un ice cream ?", success garanteed.

yea, i actually understand written french very well and i do know what those 2 sentences i typed mean - they've been a trusty companion when i try to look utterly retarded tho ;D

I did not die during my trip, i was semi-mugged in Cannes(they got nothing since I had nothing on me haha).
A lot of free food, alcohol, a few hot girls sunbathing topless on the beach a few metres from where are usual delegate only free-everything lounge bar was ;D
was a great 10 days.
a bit warm tho.
also, the grand prix winner of tv ad was awful (gorilla+chocolate+phil collins).
