CR Download Question

Obviously I'll post this on CR/email their tech support too, but I was just curious...

Has anyone had a problem with their downloads randomly stopping while they are downloading CR videos? I'm trying to download the new CTS video and every time it gets to about 35% or so the download freezes. Maybe this is due to lots of people trying to download it or something?

Just curious if anyone else is having this problem.

never had this prob=[ since their server upgrades i always get awesome dl speeds for cr vids like 1MB/s

try downloading from multiple sources, maybe its your internet

Ket: yeah Im getting awesome DL speed too, but it keeps timing out like 2 minutes into the download

ggplz: forgive my ignorance, but I dont know what you mean by downloading for multiple sources.

i mean download a random 50+mb file from a site other than cr (at the same time as a cr video) so you can determine if its cr or your internet connection

and no I've not had this prob that I can remember

I had this problem when my conection limit gets capped, before that it runs fine.

Update: It looks to be an internet problem, and not a problem with CR. I found a temporary solution that lacks elegance, but it works. When the download times out I left the download window open, and opened another window of the same download. For whatever reason the current download in progress would continue going. I had to do it several times throughout the course of the download, but it worked in the end.

Maybe this will help someone else if they are having the same problem, but it looks like I might be the only one
