His range is very wide since he's the CO and his line is very standard. He does not have to have even an A here but he could have a club. I would prefer a smaller turn bet in order to induce a call with a club. Since he raised in the CO and unlikely to have you beat already I would never check the turn because your hand is very vulnerable.
