So I played this goddamn tournament, 1k buy in on FTP, the blinds were at 170/340, ante 25, I had about 32 big blinds, i get dealt AQo in the cut off, David Chiu on my left covers me (barely) on the button, and blinds are fairly short (~15bbs) I raise 2.5bb from the cutoff (folded to me) David Chiu repops to 3300 If i recall correctly, blinds fold.

What's the best move

Im not sure what to do tomorrow when I see her, should I shake her hand?? -FloofyLast edit: 12/05/2008 21:05

I think the best play here is to shove. When you shove here he'll be getting about 2:1 to call however that's not enough for him to call off most of his re-popping range, so he can easily be doing this as a re-steal whether or not you have been active. Also, AQo is going to be ahead of most re-popping ranges from known pros. When you shove, if he ends up folding you pick up 15 bbs and increase your stack by 50% while still having fold equity during the shove. I like shoving.

optimus prime won his roll in transformers by beating the honda robot in 1976 the game? Texas hold em ahahahah LOL

all depends on how active youve been from the co and how active hes been from the button. Im sure you dont have a lot of info on chiu's playing style other than that hes known to be solid. In most CO vs buttons situations im getting it in most of the time for 30bb.
