Speed Cubing - Anyone do it?

Hello, as it is exam time I am very bored so I just did a video of me doing the rubik's cube... anyone on here do it?

lol it's been about 6 months so I guess i'm lying a bit.

2 minutes is about my average now im slower than i used to be
fastest time in the 1:05 range

personal best 51sec, avg about 70-80sec

my friend had one at his house and he finished one in under one minute.. I was like wtf
then he twisted around some more and made it checkers patterned.. I was like WTF

Its only six moves from solved qube to checkers pattern.

yes you just turn each face 2 times and you get the checkers patterned
i never really got into speed cubing cause the only method i used was the layering that i learned from using the little booklet that the cube came with. i should probably try to use some more advanced methods and solve the cube faster but i got pretty bored of it after a few weeks

I read speed clubbing.. I sure aint cubing since I probaly cant get more than 1 side : /

that fucking cube tilts me so hard.

It usually takes me around a minute and a half to solve the cube. I only know how to use the simple layer method thouhg =(. I'm too lazy to learn more advance methods.
