villain is 27/24 over 99 hands. I think a 2+2 reg.. Is the King a good card to bet/call? I felt like if i checked behind i wouldnt be able to stack him. And checking behind only offers me 1 way of winning the pot. Submitted by : handbanana21

This seems pretty standard although I would raise more on the flop so that when you bet the turn you're priced in more making it a much easier call. Looks like your committed to calling here since the only likely set he's holding in this spot is KK so get it in ez, and yes the K is a decent card to bluff if he's holding QQ, JJ, or AT. With your hand, I would be bet/calling just about any turn card tho.

Eh.. what do you think he's calling the raise with on the flop*? He either has you crushed or he has a good draw. Considering he check/shoves the hands with which he destroys you and you're ahead of most draws I like checking behind on the turn.

yea checking behind would def reduce some of the variance. And based on his calling range after i c/r, i just dont see a hand thats going to give up on any turns, even QQ prob gets it in on the turn.
