Do crows eat cats?

so we have moved into a house pretty much out in the country. we have 4 cats and we are finally able to let them all roam outside freely, and of course they all enjoy that freedom very much.

3 of the cats are males and in the mild swedish forest climate, they're pretty much at the top of the food chain. there aren't many scavenger birds here, but there are crows (or maybe one in particular) that seems to hover around our garden a bit too much, and it seems to be on the hunt for our lone female cat.

the female cat is 1 year old and very small. smaller than other cats this age and it boils down to her genetics. her mother was also a very petite cat. like, if you saw her, you'd think she was 6 months or something.

can a small female cat like this fend off a crow? she usually runs under the car when the crow comes too near, so it's obvious she's a little on her toes. crows are pretty nasty, they pick the eyes out on their victims, but I guess cats can be fucking vicious as well.

so.. can a smaller than average cat fend off a crow if she was somehow ever cornered? it's possible she will grow a bit until she's 2 yrs old but she will never be a normal sized cat.

she's a small cat but not a kitten, she kills prey and shit just like any cat, she's just smaller than average

but no, i really doubt a crow has the balls to actually hunt something. pretty sure they're scavengers

Put a knife on the back of ur cat, and transform her into a fighting machine. This should be enough to keep the crows away xD

yea maybe. in a skirmish a cat has no chance vs a fox, but cats outrun foxes pretty easily, plus foxes can't climb trees

I have a similar solution to deal with teh fox too

Actually, a cat even a small one should be able to scare away a crow, and maybe if it sticks around too much one of the male cats will do the job. If I were you I wouldn't worry.

The crow shall be called "The Cat killer" amongst his peers.
