isnt a no limit bot pretty hard to set up? thats what i always thought and i would hear more about bots that play limit

Did anybody actually believe that it was impossible to design a bot that could play poker?

It still has to win/break even.

it requires a shit load of coding and a competent player to design it, also i think they would work only for limit.

they could make a decent shortstacking bot for NL, I think.. but shortstacking play is robotic anyways. and you can always avoid them or exploit them especially if they are 100% predictable.

No matter what you do, there's always be things that will try to fuck up your progress. It always comes down to whether you're determined&smart enough, and even then nothing is guaranteed.

It would require competent players and competent coders many many man hours to complete a working bot. It can be done tho for sure.

Edit: and all it takes is bad news to deter players.
