3 hands that confused me this session, first QQ in a 3bet pot, next facing a river shove from a check/caller, and lastly I think I made a really bad checkraise.

1: Preflop I'd 4bet/call pretty often, especially because we're out of position. Your hand is pretty face up by the river, so you just have to decide if he thinks he can make you fold, but personally I'd usually fold here, since it can easily be a cheeky slowplay on a dry flop with AK.

2: Easy fold. A made hand that calls the turn probably doesn't openshove here with worse, and the only credible draw hit.

3: You shouldn't really be calling Axs out of the blinds here, especially against someone with 9%pfr in early position. The checkraise on the flop bloats the pot unnecessarily, which allows you to make larger mistakes on the turn and river out of position and nearly turns your hand into a bluff. Once here on the flop I'd probably check/call.

yeah I think I really blew it on hand 3.

I think I got too passive with QQ in hand 1 preflop. Damn.

I have to leave tables because I have a green star on my left

did you have a few threads open in different tabs and accidentally post this here? cause I have no idea what you're talkin about =)

On topic, with the QQ hand does anyone have a suggestion on a better way to play it after calling preflop? Cause I agree that by the river my hand was face up.

#1: LanderD from what i've played with him is a huge nit. his 3 bet range here is about as tight as you can get. esp if he respects you at all in anyway. That said in general I hate 4 betting here without the proper history as people won't just stack off for 100 bb's with JJ/AK so readily without past history of aggression. I don't mind a flat here at all but keep in mind that your hand is indeed quite face up.

#2: looks like a pretty standard fold to me. well played.

#3: this whole hand is a massive spew. You play up against an EP/MP raise with a hand that's not really ahead of his standard raising range OOP. then you c/r when you have very little information about the other player and you won't really get called by worse often enough to merit this. think about it. Where is the value in check raising here and to get called by what exactly? And if you do have the best hand it'll be hard to extract max value and/or get outplayed too easily. ABC poker ftw.

dont like anything in hand3, fold pre/flop/turn

hand 2:limp/caller..i dont see him doing this with AT here, more like JT/sets/flushes

i'd be able to find a call vs certain persons in hand1 based on his agression, guess its a high variance play though. but then again youre playing 6max so dont think you should be afraid of variance ^^. Never played with freak though so not sure if you should my advice here...

3.fold pf, dominated hand, oop

and i dont think u can call river there in 1 unless u have some other info. most players with those stats are making big river bets with big hands

1: Landerd is the complete opposite of a nit.. he 3bets utg raises with 36 suited. thats why he dropped to 100nl, cuz 200nl regs were whoopin his ass. 4bet small to induce a shove from him. I hate the preflop call.

2: good fold

3: Dont call that preflop.

handbanana loloololol best name ever ahahahhaha- Daut

Lander's 3bet range here isnt that tight imo (it may be tighter than his range normally is simply bc u opened UTG, but idk), and you asked ab the QQ hand, i think you can fold the turn if you dont plan on calling/betting the river. also, i dont think that shove is a bluff often enough for calling to be good(versus villain) (idk if that was even a question for you, im just saying). another reason i dont like the call on the turn is because your hand is, as oly said, face up by the river which will be really hard for you to play oop vs any kind of aggression.

and as for the other hands i'd probably just quote oly so i wont bother gl

As I've already told k2o4, I had 23s in this hand. I've also told him that if he's going to do anything he should be leading turn since check-calling is just asking to get stomped on since he is never check calling a K or a set.
