I think everyone should take at least 1 buyin of their normal stakes and when/if they double move up. Keep going until you feel uncomfortable (Neilly is immune to this part). Kapol really only did a half-Neilly because he kept the buyin he made at NL400. No one should miss a buyin if you lose but you could end up winning quite a few in a quick time.

I was drunk. That's my excuse. And it was fun to risk 1 buyin and just play like a total maniac in some HU games. I had no expectation to win anything, I fully expected to lose, but if I somehow had a heater all the way to 10k I was gonna be a happy guy and stop.

It's really not that bad if you're just looking to have some fun and gamble. It's basically an anti-martingale system (many small losses and few large wins) where with some practice I'm sure a decent player could have the odds well in their favor.

The key though of course is that you have to have a number where you will take your profits, and then start over.
