we take a small cut of what we pay towards rake
lp takes a smaller cut of what we get back
and pokerrooms pay out little chunks of money back to customers to make them continue playing (losing rake) at their sites |

lol you guys are insane
i would value LP's worth at maybe 100-200k. since party stuff has died down its not really that profitable. if UIEGA was repealed and party stuff could come infull force again, i would say that LP's worth would increase by about 300-400% and maybe then it would be worth 1m. but as of now its def not worth anything near that |

it should be worth a lot though i dont think you guys have any idea how much work naz and meat put into the site. at one point naz was putting like 10 hours a day, especially working on the LP sites for other countries. poland, brazil and latin america took a lot of work to do and maybe they are bringing in a lot more income that i overlooked, but i dont think LP is making as much as it was about 18 months ago. |

PE of 1.5 as daut claims is a tad on the low side I think. PE for the S+P 500 historically has been around 15-20 or so I believe. That means the worhth of the company is 15-20 times what it can make in a single year. Obviously, the PE for a huge, reputable company in the S+P is higher. But even from what I've seen, small businesses with some track record have been selling for a minimum of 2-3 years worth of profits. |

but yeah, it depends on a huge number of factors. For retail operations such as restaurants, etc. the biggest factor that I've seen is the length and terms of the lease. If a store has a year or two left on a least and it is obvious that the landlord is gonna jack that shit up, the business will sell for a whole lot less than if it had 10 years left on a below market value lease. |

I'd have valued it lower if this was asked before the new full tilt $100 offer. |

Not only were they working hard, they were also hiring other people to work hard. Naz doesn't mess around and expects alot but pays very reasonably |

I have no idea, but I do agree that it's probably worth less than it we all think it is, unfortunately. There's just a ton of competition. Also what daut said about the party thing, altho this new FTP offer could be gold in the long run. Meat/Naz def. put a shit ton of work into this site, major props to them. |

It's worth a compromise of what someone is willing to pay for it and the owners are willing to sell it for. |

How much do they make from offering rakeback and the such? Is it just off each player they refer or a continuous percentage of the rakeback? |
