think what you beat please, JJ here is pretty much only beating AK/AT and youre not getting folds from QQ+/TT/99
id opt to check.call the flop instead and c/f any non8jQ turn |

No way do I ever raise here as played. He is probably jsut some stupid fish that thinks the only way to get max value out of AA is by minraising everything. If he doesn't have an overpair then he probably has a NFD anyway and still won't fold, and the pot only get's big when you have a marginal hand OOP. You are either way behind or only slightly ahead here, so if you think he will keep bluffing with a draw or something then I would just call him down, but raising folds out everything you beat after the turn. |

I'm also at Nl 10 so I'll give it a try.
How long have you been playing at the table? do you know this guy?
If you don't know the guy, calling his 3bet is ok.
I think raise to .40 PF is better; you have to bet this flop, so bet it with balls, not just half pot, bet like .80-.90, you got minraised, so like Joe says, he might have AA, but I think you should call flop and wait for a good turn (that the only really good turn is J cause you don't have Jc,). check turn, if he raises like hell, he has over pair. |

Sorry, how is this even good advice? You're suggesting that since the villain has us beat we should give him more money by calling rather than betting.
Anyways, the hand is fine as played, if we weren't sure that we're beat preflop, by leading the flop we know. Don't call his raise, you don't have odds. |

lets say villain has QQ+ AK, this would make c/c very okay with jacks (assuming villain always cbets/never double barrels, theres 18 combos of QQ/KK/AA and 16 combos of AK) |
