And i think what a lot of you guys dont realise (or maybe refuse to admit) is that neilly's overall hu game is actually much stronger than you might think or that it may appear. hes probably able to crush low/midstakes hu tables for quite a sick winrate. ofcourse right now he's a very long ways from his 'goal' of being dominant at 5/10nl hu on stars, but still the level he's reached should deserve some credit. he's tough to play against and will crush lots of people who fail to properly handle his ott style, which you probably need to be a hu specialist with a decent level of theoretical understanding to properly do. its a little embarassing for me to say this as frinkx is kind of my friend, but neilly sickraped him. he might have ran above expectation but he didnt run 30 buyins above expectation. a decent 2/4 6max longterm winner who isnt a hu specialist got totally eaten alive by this degen everyone loves to hate on because he epic-failed to make the right adjustments to neilly's game (meaning it isnt easily done), and nobody gave neilly any credit for it. Obv a sick level unfortunately I cant disagree with you more. What you're ultimately saying is that being a huge degen actually pays off. If you flip a coin 30x its bound to get on small streak, you're basing this knowledge off EXTREMELY small sample sizes, it's called a heater for a reason. You're feeding into exactly what Neilly loves to hear. It doesn't matter if he can crush low/mid stakes... (I haven't seen him crush anything past 50NL CONSISTENTLY). Theres a thin line between being fearless and being stupid.

If hes willing to risk financial ruin to be remembered as "that wickedsick crazy dude" on an online forum, then i know which side of the line hes on - and if you think hes cool for doing it - youre on the same side as he is.

I dont like to judge people, but i think after such a long time and endless of the same-sort of blogposts from him its pretty safe to judge him the way byrnesam do and i dont think its anything impressive at all what hes doing.

Also sure Neilly is being nice atm paying back depths talking in a pretty manner way but it wasnt long ago he behaved like a complete asshole both in text and in acting, if it takes a $10k lucky upswing for him to behave in a mannerish way hes not a good person at all in my eyes.

I can guarantee alot of shit any good player does HU looks stupid in a vacuum but can actually be a great play. Sure, some of the plays are retarded tilt spews but others its really hard to tell.

EDIT: That is, from the few HHs I've seen. I've never played him and don't really want to play him as I'd probably go on insane monster tilt after about 5 hands.
