Yes, im saying his bankroll management, game selection, etc is retarded. I'm well aware that he is not a horrible player. He consistently runs up 10+ buyin stacks on HU tables; no small feat.

i feel sorry for neilly but i dont think he needs nor appreciates it. he's an adrenaline junkie and gets a rush out of constantly pushing things to it's limit. poker is definitely for him, but in terms of poker being a good and steady source of income, im afraid it won't be for the likes of him.

It is interesting why some people fail at poker, an example

Neilly is a good player from what I have seen, he could probably make 100k+ a year beating NL100 or NL200 or something. But he lacks other elements of a successful player, good bankroll management, from what I have seen tilt control and obviously table selection. Playing Ket, Fayth, F4zi etc def a bad idea. Then you have other people who ARE good at BR managing, tilt control and table selection but they have little skill at the table, and for that reason they are stuck playing NL2 - NL25 for 5 years never bustoing and never really getting anywhere just like neilly but in a different way. He will probably never adjust and change.

unfortunately I cant disagree with you more. What you're ultimately saying is that being a huge degen actually pays off. If you flip a coin 30x its bound to get on small streak, you're basing this knowledge off EXTREMELY small sample sizes, it's called a heater for a reason. You're feeding into exactly what Neilly loves to hear. It doesn't matter if he can crush low/mid stakes... (I haven't seen him crush anything past 50NL CONSISTENTLY). Theres a thin line between being fearless and being stupid.

If hes willing to risk financial ruin to be remembered as "that wickedsick crazy dude" on an online forum, then i know which side of the line hes on - and if you think hes cool for doing it - youre on the same side as he is.
