I'd give up these AK many times cause the blinds do not push people to shove AJ
only stupidos does |

Its a freeroll, get allin. You can 3bet and get allin, or just shove preflop and let some random call.
NEVER FOLD PREFLOP ! |

say it was a more serious tourney with slower blinds / better players do you still feel comfortable getting it in for 50bb utg + 1 vs UTG |

because youre not always flipping. people are not good players generally so lots of times youll see AJ AQ and other trash hands showing up |

probably just calling preflop unless they are bad, in whichcase its not going to be a flip vs their range.
Readless, id just flatcall vs utg raise first level in a sng |

Ok since we have questions about AK there, I'd ask one thing
Is snap calling AK on button vs a chiplider in 100/200 blins while we are 3-4k stacked bad overall? Cause I used to stack people off, they never expected me to have them outkicked, since yesterday, when the flop cale AQ10 and I lost to AQ |

AK with 20 or less BB's is an easy call/shove vs anyone |

@ck20
I don't see how this could possibly be any good. For example you have 34% equity in this pot. Don't you think that respecting the fact that the blinds are tiny, and not stacking off with ace high preflop here, gives you a better expectation than gamboling against weakies? Added to this is that you have 3600 already, chip leader; additional chips have much less value than if you were average or short stack. In a $3 SNG, I think you'd even get a better expectation folding every hand than playing this hand this way. This does not seem like good SNG play to me.
You don't have to get it in with a marginal edge when you can easily wait for morons to give you a huge edge. |

@OP: It depends on the structure of the freeroll, but generally they're so large and the % paid is so small that every reasonable risk is worth the opportunity to chip up. Your play seems defensible. |
