Kentucky Derby is in 50 min. Anyone want to put some action down? I was thinking just pick a horse to win against someone or multiple ppl then pay out if your horse wins and chop otherwise cuz it would be difficult for much else at this point but if you have any suggestions on other action I'm down.

at the top you can find all the horses, their colors, their names, and odds w/ the slider bar.
I'll go up to $200 or so of action on any bet. |

Denis of Cork (pink) had an epic charge from dead last most of the race to snag third. |

Probably shouldn't have used "dead" last all things considered. I heard PETA was moving towards suspending the jockey of 8 belles - I wonder how that works. Both the matter of how the jockey is responsible in some of these cases and furthermore the science of why a horse with broken ankles has to be put down as opposed to fixed up. We were joking about shotgunning horses before the race - wasn't too happy to actually see it happen - at least they use injection these days. |

The horse could live, but would never walk again. Afaik a normal jockey weighs like a buck o' five, which is nothing to a horse. |
