The game of agony and death.

Of course im talking about World of Warcraft. I'm beginning to have some more sparetime and currently running a bit dead in the pokers so I thought I'd take up this game once again.
The problem is though when I try and login with a friends account, which is active, it's stuck at connecting.. I figure i need some new patches or something, but they dont download untill i login, and I cant.
Reinstall whole game and repatch?(thats a lot of hours ) or what?

Also.. I dont know where I heard this or if it was a dream(I hope this wasent a dream.. Cause im going crazy then) that there is a new patch, expansion or a whole other game which works kinda like Diablo2 Hardcore mode. You cant still forever, but you loose all equipment when you are killed. Am I crazy?

And third, anyone know any relatively new Pvp servers to start on?

just look at the patch version on the login screen of WoW

then go google latest patch and find an update from your version > current one.

another problem could be if he has BC and a BC character (like a bloodelf) and you only have the original WoW - i dunno thats just a guss.

Anyone currently playing on a pvp server? Preferably low leveled
