Do most tourneys pros play for 1st place cuz its mathematically correct given the prize structure that gives first few places a lot more $ than other places?

First place pays the most money, so its generally a good idea to try to win
also, are sundays the only good MTT day with lots of fish?

we play for first because there's the most money, like TE said. there's a more complicated answer than this but thats basically it also there's fish every day lol.. sunday there's just bigger buyin tournaments also this is not about tournament structures
