Just a question since I don't play high enough to give you any advice.
Do you think it makes it harder for your opponents to bluff you when they haven't actually made their hand if you lead the turn? I take the aforementioned line fairly often and it seems to work alright for me at lower-stakes.

As for the flop I don't think you induce a raise frequently enough on these stakes to make a small bet more profitable.
I think I'd bet more on the river. They either have a boat or they're not calling. |

Hm.
I think flop is a bigger bet anyway, if they have AJT9 or something they're not folding, especially with a spade draw in there so bet sizing won't matter. Lots of turns suck.
Turn is standard imo, river I'd bet small if it doesn't pair and bet big if it does. They could easily have runnered a boat with QT or KT. |

Yea I agree I shoulda just bet more on river.
Tomson. I find it interesting that you say it doesn't induce a raise frequently enough on these stakes. I actually did it specifically because I was at this stake. I've played higher before as I was learning (ass backwards right?), and it's something I totally didn't think about. I have seen this sort of thing induce crazy aggression from marginal holdings at higher stakes. I can definitely see how a lot of lower stakes people would be content on calling as opposed to raising in general. Not that it's not the right play in certain situations. I guess it's something I'll have to adjust to.
Benjamin. I can see why it does make it harder for your opponents to bluff you there but well in this specific case, I was more concerned with getting cr'd by an easily made straight than with getting bluffed. A bluff in his spot really wouldn't make sense for "wowthatsfast" anyways. |

I like how you played every street.
I'd only pot the river if my opponents are especially bad. |

if river blanks i usually check again and let someone bluff at it usually, unless villains dont bluff much. the only thing ur really getting value from in that spot w/ a river bet on a blank river is 44 or 1010, altho a ton of draws miss and its very easy for someone to bare JJ or AA bluff or something |
