Since you elect to call preflop there which Im not sure is such a good play especially being oop, you are hoping to hit a good flop, this is a good flop so you gotta go with it.
You probably wont get him to fold even tp since your line looks weird, but you have a lot of equity and there is some dead money in the pot so go for it.

sucks because you can't really represent AA here
any reads about his bet sizing?
I fold pre probably, the other guy calling makes it tempting tho

dont like pre, but you flopped the nuts postflop so you have to go with it

youve got 43% vs AK/AA so get it in imo

I'd normally fold pre but it was 6 into a pot of 21 so over 4-1 already, plus implied odds so I had a hard time folding it. I check-raised the flop pretty big but not all-in and he reshoved w/ AK. He held. When I checked equity it was 43 and considering the money in this looks good. Just wanted to see if you guys approach it the same.

4 to 1 isn't enough because you have to fold most flops and even if you hit flop you don't know wether you're good or not.

Just fold this trash preflop. I wouldn't open it UTG either.

You should never tell someone they have cute dimples. Maybe they were shot in the face with a BB gun

another thing to note: if you have NO idea what to do in these spots then why are you even calling these types of hands pf?

well that's not a really good point because an evolving player finds spots where he doesn't know what to do for sure all the time
and if he doesn't he can't improve
although this is obv a fold preflop because of what everyone said
