Good TV Shows?

So I'm looking for TV shows I can watch when I'm hungover/bored/in bed etc, I've pretty much watched all mine a couple times and need some new ones.

Scrubs, Entourage and Californication were my favourite funny ones and Lost, Prison Break and Underbelly the best non-comedy ones

ATM I'm downloading the Sopranos which I hope to get into but please recommend me some more!

You guys are kidding me? ANYTHING on TV with a storyline is so fuckin gay. Superbad acting. Super cheesy story line. Really bad directing and editing. I have not seen a single motion picture on TV that is above 4 of 10. Only bands of brothers gets high but thats a mini series so that doesn't count.

For shows, for a comedy I really liked Arrested Development i thought it was great. For a non comedy, you have to check out the wire, easily the best tv show EVER! Also, I started watching Sopranos a month or two ago, and its pretty tight.

Southpark is good too btw.

ya all above are rly sick shows. id go w lost first, but thats cuz its my favorite show. ill warn u tho once u begin watching it u will watch it through and through cuz its so addicting. heroes and shield are REALLY good too. the shows cap mentioned are really good if you enjoy history channel and discovery channel, which i do.

The american version of the office is fucking tripe.

but respect to Gervais and Merchant for lining their pockets by spewing a crappy american version for like 5 seasons and letting the UK one remain an unspoiled 2 season + 1 special epic.

If you like dry comedy, Ricky Gevais is a genius in the office (UK) and Extras.

Band of Brothers is pretty much the best war related thing i've ever seen.

One I like that noone has mentioned is How I Met Your Mother. It's not great, but it's good.

Green Wing. It's kind of a British version of scrubs, but tons better (and I'm not saying that cause I dislike scrubs, I actually like it). Agree that Dexter is good. Coupling is decent. Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps is decent (albeit extremely immature)

24 is great, and there's 6 seasons to boot.
The Office could be the funniest show I have ever seen.
Seinfield is also very funny.
Curb Your Enthusiam is also in the same boat.

alright, im gonna get a couple seasons of dexter, first 2 seasons of 24 and first 2 seasons of the shield today.

forgot to mention but yeah ive seen season 1 of heroes, and because of how bad the last ep of season 1 was i didnt bother with season 2 lol

Deadwood and Carnivale were good too. Pretty much any HBO original series except John from Cincinnati is good.

The Shield is a well written story that should be watched from season 1 to 6 since its not your average crappy show wich no sequence (House etc) or randomly written as it advances pushing season after season (lost heroes).

So if you want to watch The Shield definitely watch it all, it improves and the best is the last season but it would suck if you dont watch it from the beginning.

What season is when they blow up the Russian guy ? I think its the end of some season cuz they stopped running it on tv after that and it sucked cuz I was really hooked on it
