first of all, please don't 3x raise pf with this hand again especially out of position.

this is a good question, a real tough one, you are representing strength the whole way, i would read your play as high cards...
here you have to consider his timing tell, how fast he reraised on the turn..

The play is very strange on the flop if he indeed was drawing with J8, but isn't uncommon especially since he's in the bb with, very likely combo draws like j896, 7896, j108x, qj89 all kinds of shit.


. His flat call on the flop is a big warning sign, you have to consider what you are getting value out of, any draw would be one of those, and his flat call on the flop is a very high percentage of the time a drawing hand.
why lead out on the flop, are you seriously trying to get value out of just a pair of tens? with the $2 bet you're hoping he folds, but the problem is you made a straight, so you lead out again.

I really think you should fold here, I know it's tough to let go, but at best you are playing for a chop, already losing, or an 8 outer assuming your clubs are high enough. you don't have enough odds to hit the flush. In addition, your play is super exploitable, please try not to do that line again without having some kind of draw to the nuts.

ummm i was betting the flop cuz i thought he was super passive and figured it would be a decent semi bluff like i could pick up like another pair on the turn ... plus the gutshot ... but i am realizing that sucks if its not to the nuts.... i really have no idea what im doing obv, lol.

i really thought i should be folding ... i didnt even realize i had a redraw ... maybe i should try this when not drunk

i never shove here. I usually fold this unless i have more info on my opponent

in omaha his range includes not only just 8J but he could have even worse a 8J10Q type hand that has higher clubs.

best case you're going against top two with a redraw or set with a redraw... and i guess air (rofl)

no worries man, the more situations like this you encounter the more your omaha senses will start to grow. A word of advice, 2 pair is garbage, it's only usually good on an extrememly dry board, or top 2 with no straight/flush possibilities. In this game, u wanna aim for the sets, nut straights/flushes, and nut boats, etc etc.

pf is ok if he's passive. Against agro players is an easy fold
flop play is fine and is not a valubet obv, you explained your reasoning well
Then you hit 2nd nuts with a redraw in a HU pot when you could be facing trips+redraw or same hand.
I play as a maniac and this is a standard shove for me, but dunno. I hate straights so much at PLO

Also Jamming can cause two things:
1) He folds the worst hand
2) He calls with better

I don't think he'd ever be slowplaying anything worse on the flop (it's omaha) like a set that he would play this way since your raising range (should) include a lot of wraps.
