Banning Neilly until...

I say we should have Neilly banned from LP until he pays his debt back. Owes a lot of people money, always comes up with stupid crap like, oh, I'll have it in a week. Or the one I received was he had to bail his sister out of jail so he played highest stakes possible to see if he could get enough money to bail her.

I mean comon dude, seriously, stop making BS up, get a part time job, and pay people back, it should not take you a month.

I think he should be paying the debts back and banning isn't a bad idea, but at the same time if you were stupid enough to give him money you kinda deserve to lose it. But right now the punishment is lopsided - the people who were stupid lost their money, but neilly gets to be a scumbag and lose nothing, so banning would be nice imo. Then he should only pay back half before he gets unbanned so that everyone still gets punished for their stupidity.

I don't know neilly. I think it's reasonable to ban someone who has used the site to solicit for money which is unlikely to get paid back. That is like scamming.

SUBARU, please provide answers to the following questions. if you lie neilly will probably out you:

1. when neilly originally solicited the loan were there any false pretences involved?, e.g did he pretend to be someone else or lie about what he intended to do with the original loan. (btw I know you've already mentioned his BS reasons for why he couldn't repay it but this is about when he first asked for it)

if you answered no to false pretences then proceed to 2. (also Oly should note this means his comparison to scamming is invalid)

2. were you aware of his publically known reputation of helpless degeneracy and going broke countless times at the time you transferred the cash?

3. why did you decide to loan the money anyway then? e.g. he mightve promised to return a share of his profit from playing on the loan money.

4. what were the exact formally agreed terms of your original loan? provide chat log if possible


if youre seriously asking if people think neilly should be banned you should provide at least this info first.

Are you kidding? People like Neilly and beachgirl feel horrible when they get banned from places like LP, TL, blah blah. I doubt it would make him pay the money back but it's about the only punishment the community can throw on him, and it seems like a good idea to do something to leeches who never repay loans.

If the conditions said that he was only allowed to play certain limits with a specified roll and that if he broke those rules he would be held responsible for paying back the full amount... then yes he should have to pay the money back and it should be considered a scam if he doesn't?

Regardless of who and what he is when you make the agreement you obviously run this risk when you loan/stake anyone, just because it's neilly doesn't mean you aren't entitled to getting your money back in for example the aforementioned situation.
