edit: trying to find a well placed hotel now that wont involve constant taxi splurging.. any tips?

sorry i cant help you there ive never been to the G casino so i dont know if there is any hotels nearby, I looked on map and its like 2 miles from my flat not that helps you but it means its only a 30 minute walk for me

And yeah, i'll be playing first 4 events and dunno about the 300/200 during the 1ks. They usually get a much smaller turnout, and the 1day ones have worse structure.

lolol i spent nearly half an hr earlier trying to plot public bus routes from the city centre to the casino on google maps, taxis are just too ripoff. im planning to have bought a new lotus elise before the end of the month, should hopefully have that in time for gukpt newcastle next month so i dont have to worry about fixing taxi leaks the hard way anymore :D

either elise R or elise supercharged (depending on how much more insurance will cost for supercharged, if its not much more itd be cute to get 0-60 in 4.4s instead of 4.9s), and BLEH i might have to wait until mid july to get it otherwise it'll just be sitting at home for 7 weeks while im in vegas i want it now ffs!

Cr@p - haven't posted for a while, live near Manchester and was away with work (day job) for the whole of this event....could have helped a bit with hotel advice too - sorry. Hope everyone did well. Any good results?

I can help on the Lotus front though - I just bought a new R and it's great but if you can afford the insurance go for the SC. The trouble with the R is that you have to keep it above 6300rpm to be in the serious power and that's hard (read - no license) to do. I wish I'd bought the SC....but still great fun.
