** High-Stakes HOTW (3/29 - 4/05) **

Please post here your outstanding high-stakes hands for the weeks of

March 29, 2008 - April 5, 2008

Please limit your posts to genuinely impressive hands. You should use the following guidelines as minimum qualifiers:

1. You make a very deep, bold bluff on a hand that gets to the river. The pot size should be large, at least 50bb's, and your bluff should be very daring (such as bluffing over a third barrel on a scary board).
2. You win or lose a pot worth at least 5 buy-ins (500bb). IF THIS IS THE CASE, POSTING A BAD BEAT/SUCKOUT IS ALLOWED.
3. You make a sick read and call down a large amount of money over multiple streets with a very marginal hand, like third pair for 60bb over three streets.

Those who post worthless hands or random suckouts will be warned and their posts will be deleted, and if such action continues, further action will be taken. I have made a separate HOTW section for low-stakes players so that you can have a time to shine. If this thread is violated, I will remove this section of the bulletin and only allow high-stakes players to have a HOTW.

i like that hand a lot

that 10 on the river makes any flush the nuts.

i'm a omaha nit so i'd probably check that river if i had a set which is the line peachy looks like he's taking on the flop/turn. If you have a flush draw and like pair peachy would obviously bet that river. So villian probably thinks he can bluff peachy of a set or even possibly top pair with straight redraws (56).

So that check is pretty good.

I'm still an omaha newbie so maybe i'm wrong but that's my thought process as villian if i'm facing peachy's range.

We have a long history tagomago and I. When deep i mix up my raises from everything between 60 and 150. My read on him on the turn told me he had air or a strong draw and it was a push.
