I just saw the video with Tom Scheinder on chinese poker on cardplayer tv. He explains how too play the game exept for 1 thing i'm not sure about. If someone knows how too play please answer. In your 3 card hand: does 3 of the same suit count as a flush? 3 in a row count as a str8? or can you just make a pair and trips in your 3 card hand? ty. |

thanks guys. i played today with some familly members for fun. didnt like it that much. seems like a good game for degen gambler type. maybe im wrong. im also curious about something. the luck factor:is it slightly higher than holdemomaha somewere along the lines of razz, or is it really skillfull? |

it's obviously a gambling game as the money is already in and you can't really dictate the outcome after a certain point anyway.
also chinese poker isn't even close to razz in terms of skill/luck factor... wtf
this game is fucking genius imo. ship that insta win baby. |

Chinese poker is indeed gambling, but if u play it optimally.. every hand flawless.. u can make a lot of money with it .. a lot of people make kicker mistakes shit like that..
and playing with elky is an instacall.. I had to tell the dealers to stfu when they are looking at elky's hands with open mouths..

i have a question tho... we play chinese poker differently here... there has to be 4 players and 1 player (the dealer/banker) has to go against the other 3 players... do you play it the same way? |

it is indeed like 80% gambling(only kicker and combination configs spell the difference most times). ive played with one guy that was really hard to beat though, and ive been a winning chinese poker since i was a kid. last time i plyaed though i got totally ass raped, the hands were just sooo unreal. but i felt it was some magic trick coz i played with 3 guys the other was the mayor's son, the banker's dad was a senator and he brought his own dealer, who i later found out was an amateur magician LOL |
