Hi,

I have been playing live tournys at my local casino and while playing noticed a juicy cash game everytime i go. a few regs but mostly tourny donks and other idiots

The game is £1 SB £1 BB with a min. buy in of £20 up to unlimited max. The rake is set at £1 per £15 in the pot up to a max of £3. The average pot around £35 and the action is loose agg preflop with little or no respect for a raise and def. stationary post flop with draws etc...
Im talking about £6 or £7 preflop raises and
getting 2+ callers.
(average stack is around £80 with a few shorties)

I fancy taking a shot at this sometime and just wondered;

with all the looseness what kind of BR do i need? (standard 20BI?)

would you buy in for 100BB or more to cover the table?

any other things i should consider or advice for this ?

thanks.

If you want to take a shot why would you need 20BI? It's a shot, ffs. And what BI are you talking about when there's no max BI? 100BB?
If you want to take a shot, then just take £100 and sit at the table with it. Busto or robusto - simple strategy .

I'd try like 200bb since the extra money in the small blind and the big ass pf-raises makes the game much shallower.

do you think some sort of short stack pushing strategy (keep reloading if busto) would be viable? maybe £25 buy in and push your good hands until double up? just curious which would be more effective... short play vs there big ass raises or 200bb stack as per dusty and play 'normally'?

shortstackin' could work, but the rake pretty much fucks you over unless they suck more then a random blond from a 90' porno.

the rake will rape the shit out of you + tips. But i'd recommend at least 1000 big blinds for the stake when playing live.

I'd flat lots of big drawing hands in position cuz it seems they pay off hands anyway.

and just vbet the shit out of em with my big hands.

I'd suggest buyin in for 100bb and as you notice donks getting chips or bigstacks being donks then you can add money onto the table. Also having the rare good player on your right and deep will be annoying.

10bi probably enough for live uk games, although if thats all your money maybe more would be useful

60, 70BB is enough to setmine and shove premiums pf and get called more lightly. When you get more reads on your opponents you can buy in for 150BB
I'd use a 1000BB rule. You cant lose more than 2bi in a session
