Ok I passed 1k VIP mark at martinspoker... after a rocky start (-400, just 2 very unlucky sessions) I'm 200 up from my original deposit, plus 200 reload which released at 600VIP. I've been playing $100NL, mostly 8-handed, but some 6-handed too.

Some observations:

* These guys are very tight preflop. Betting the standard 4BB (+1BB per limper) preflop will get you only the blinds. I mean seriously. I've adjusted my game so, that I raise my marginal hands (A8o, QJ) and do something else with the good ones, depending on the situation.

* There's no hand history/pokertracker/GT+ easily available. I'm not gonna fight windmills to get that shit thought.

* Their postflop play is very sheepish. They call bigger raises with draw hands, one pair etc than party players. So if you're putting in 2/3, they're VALUE CALLING their open-ended. This makes up for the fact that you can't get them to play raised pots.

* Very often, the hands I'm losing to, is two pair. As you know, two pair is a luck hand. So don't exclude the option that they're raising you with K3.

* They overplay high pairs to a ridiculous degree, compared to same stakes party players. So, set farming is ftw here.

Overall, I give this whoring a 7. The game is boring grinding, the client is annoying and the players are zzzz. I won't be whoring this again by registering an account to family member's name etc.

Suggested stakes to play to effectively clear: $200NL and $400NL

Saving hand histories is now included without 3rd party software (though I still use it for convenience) after their last software upgrade, so PT should be working fine with this.

just for info:
I just cleared the BET365.com $100 first deposit bonus.
I have to say its pretty easy and fast if u play NL50 (or higher of course). It took me about 7-8 hours of play (2 sessions in one day).
The competition is soft enough, just as party NL50. (Only they are maybe little less likely to go allin preflop with shit, which is very common at party NL50).
The software is good for me (oh well, i was quite used to it from previous play at prima network).
Good thing is that you can always check ur amount of raked hands without having to email them.

I have emailed them and now i am just waiting for them to give me the bonus. Hope it wont take long.
So if there isnt any problem with getting the bonus/withdrawing, i can say, that it was just a good one day distraction from the party stereotype, i made a (little) above average day profit of 110$ + the bonus of 100$, which gives me nice 210$ net profit for today

UPDATE: the money came with no problems

has anyone tried doyles room 35% deposit bonus? how hard is it to clear playing micro stakes?

Verbloten   Australia. Feb 13 2006 15:47. Posts 1889

Ok... i finished clearing the bonus - they were great - i went in with $75 cleared $100 bonus and now have $255. I would have had closer to 300 but took a bit of a beat late yesterday! So needless to say, the competition is very soft. I will be leaving money there for sure because i actually like the site - nice tables, soft competition and tourneys (shorthanded too which u don't get at stars).

Overall for a micro player (i played 10NL their lowest limit) i would thoroughly recommend you do this bonus. As i said - $75 was way enough for me to clear it and it probably took me about 6-8 hours playing 3 tables.

EDIT: And now i don't know where to go - everywhere else looks like i would need to play way outside my BR in order to clear the bonus... so i guess i go back to the grind for a while... if anyone has any ideas though for micro player like me - let me know!

Try the "other" sportingbet sites. Most seem to still offer the bonus

for anyone with a 200$ br paradise poker is an option for a 100$ bonus(usualy its 25% up to 50 but use code POKERNEWS or others you can find for 50% up to 100)

i deposited 200 and played the NL25 tables for 3 days and cleared this bonus (average 4-5 hours 3 tabling NL25)

the site is super soft and i cashed out 680 (100 bonus and 380 in winnings on the tables)

the software is horrible and feels really choppy, i also dont like the way the cards come up all instantly

but other than that the players are soft and if you go on a good streak you can easily come out of there with 200$ profit including the bonus

i just cashed out today to netteller and ill update how long the cashout took

dont know were ill be heading next, but most likely doyles room

edit: i forgot to mention that i only play short handed, so i played 3 5max tables of NL25 and 1 fullring .50/1 limit table

I finished Martinspoker yesterday. All I can say is, I feel fucking cheated. My luck muhwelized at the start, and multiple points I was sure the other players saw my pocket cards

Strangely, I felt the players were much worse than at party. They always drew at incorrect odds, but I swear to fucking christ they caught gutshot 80% of the time. That place is a bunch of fucking two pair and gutshot farmers. Out of my ~50 sets last session, only a few got paid. So that pretty much sums my luck... 0 action on my good hands, and incredible outdraws on the rest. It was horrible to play there psychologically... all you saw was guys calling potsized bets on each street, and then getting a runner runner gutshot to whatever bullshit straight they were going to. I think they intentionally make the gutshots hit, so players would bet more --> more rake. >

So I'm very dissapointed in how it turned out, EV- for me. But I'll still make positive after I get the deposit bonus in 2.5 months. Also, I couldn't find anything I could use the VIP's on. I'm not gonna be clearing that place again with my family member's name, nor any of the other B2B sites which offer the same bonus.

So, in short, it was heaven but you got unlucky ?
On martin's you can use the VIP points to enter tournaments, I think the rate is 1$ = 100VIP or something like that

i am at 2K vip soon, im really annoyed by the software, the horrible suckouts and the players on this site

casino.net doesnt work with players from sweden.

e: but you dont need the right adress to withdraw less than 500$, however it could be that they block your account if they find out that you are from sweden before you managed to clear the bonus.

Can anyone confirm that bet365 works at NL10? Cause in terms and conditions it says something about playing with atleast $50 as stakes.

That's for casino betting, NOT poker. At NL10/NL20 it'll work, it just takes a while.

Try on the "other sites" of the same group, in different languages. They still offer it all.
