it takes a lot of research money to create new medicine, but since aids affects mostly poor nations, nobody is really putting an effort into HIV research anymore, especially since we live in an era were thers a huge generation of old people that are dying, wich alot are being affected by cancer, most reasearch and awerness campaigns are for cancer.

basically, the cure for AIDS is more reasearch wich is mre money, wich people in the western world don't care anymore about, thats what the message was about

bluegh not a very good episode. Just a bit too far fetched and it seemed like it was all just going for the "ooooh no theyre making aids jokes - how edgey" approach.

the first episodes of the new seasons are usually the strongest but i hope this doesnt set the standard for s12.

I thought it was also about the fact that there are some really good combinations of AIDS drugs out there now but they are ridiculously expensive. In other words a lot of people with AIDS can live more normal lives now and live significantly longer with the use of these drugs but only a few people can afford the price they cost. AKA The people in poorer countries can't afford them. I'm sure it probably means to talk about both issues though.

I think it's all about saying "Fuck" to your mom.
