i'm only a life tilt. why couldnt they play the hand normally? gold would be allin before river for sure and he would get stacked

Yeah although it seems really naive, i think it could be the case.

I'm kind of getting sick of watching HSP for the fact that.. it's not even poker anymore.. It's like oh lets run it 30x so the odds will even out. THIS IS POKER. You live and you die by the outcome. I'm really getting tired of the fact that they're playing with scared money. I do get that its a hell of a lot of money 500k is a ton.. but they signed up to play, and I really think they are killing the game on national television.

this episode was worse than most WPT/WSOP events

same, starting to hate HSP and their "lets run it 2-3times" WE (Audience) wanna see someone LOSE/WIN a shitload of money even if its a bad beat or not, not fucking chop every big pot, i dont even really care about next ep but will watch it for free for sure .

oh and i liked how Doyle and probably Barry looked actually offended by what happened in this episode, I was too

I really dislike how 1/4 of the episode was devoted to the Sammy/Jamie hand. Sammy was trying to play games with Jamie's head early on but he should have just doubled up after he got the information that he needed. The rest was just needless trash talking, I can't believe Sammy let him off the hook like that. The last hand with Sammy and Jamie, looks like Sammy is falling out of love with Jamie with his douchiness. "Send me home...BOOYAH!" So little hands and just alot of fluff.

Next episode looks monster with PA getting involved with Sammy!

heres my thought, 1st of all as nazgul pointed out that river check with sammy vs gold after all that talk put me on life tilt easily. WTF we can rule out the 10 and a set LOL wow stupid idiot.

Personally i think in the heat of the moment farha got what psychologists refer to as ''tunnel vison'' (eg: criminal will be so focused on victim he loses sight of his surroundings). In short term farha was so absorbed into the starlight,the chatting,heat of the moment, or whatever reason that he foolishly checked. I was kind of calmed down after he suckered greenstein for a 350k pot or so. But then he stupidly spewed a few pots. But even more so what disgusted me more and made me hate jamie gold was the QQ hands vs pair and oesd, where farha offered to gamble for a bit less money and gold like a huge asshole just brushed him off and didn't wanna make a deal. That made farha really angry cuz he gave gold a break, and gold just spat in his face. We just saw golds true colours there. lol

i can only see 2 reasons why farha checked behind ....

1 ... gold practically looked like he was about to cry if farha stacked him, and doing so would probably mean that farha would never get another game against jamie gold.

the only other reason i can see is that he wanted to keep his "nice guy" image to the public and future potential opponents, i mean, because gold was begging for mercy, farha had to realize it, i know if it were me in that chair i woulda moved in so quick.

and if i were at that table, i would 100% agree w/ doyle and barry that the two of them disrespected the game.

WTF is the point of playing with all that omney on the table if nobody is ever going to win a big pot? all this running it 2 and 3 times crap .. its ridiculous.

also the way gold talked was as if he was the one who didnt want to take money from farha (from time to time it seemed this way) and so he was being nice... that and the fact that its much easier to see stuff as an observer than player might have made choice a bit difficult

Jamie Gold is the biggest fucking cunt i've ever seen at a live poker table. I've seen my fair share of trash-talking dickheads, scared-money players, ignorant fish, and arrogant selfish shit-brains. But Gold takes the worst of each of these qualities and somehow manages to roll it all up into one giant ball of homosexual faggotry that just puts me on tilt for life.
