Yep he had 720k with him and he was schedueled ('guaranteed' seat) to play day 3 in the 500k game, he was like 2nd alternate for day 2 (the day we just watched)
so couldnt risk losing too much money and played very tight, also because theyre all monkeys in that game of course but if youre playing a ~100k stack when people are always straddling 1200 sometimes 2400 and preflop raises are 10k you just have to play 10% else youre gonna lose so much. I dunno the exact story about not playing day 3 but he wasn't allowed to play his seat on day 3 cause he was too tight and boring |
