Im not sure how am i suppoused to play these nut flush on the flop, since betting will sacare everything but trips and even then if they dont see odds for the board pairing they fold.

So when i get that i usually slowplay it hoping that another club falls and a lower flush might go willing to bet for his K or Q.

o__o help.

okay look, excluding bluffs, nobody will have made much except possibly a smaller flush or trips or TPTK so bet on flop to see where you're at look at these 5 player checkfests are garbage. bet so you find out where you are and slowplaying does not follow that you'll make more money but follows that you'll probably lose more money. if someone's going to put in their money they're going to have "something" at these stakes so slowplaying it stupidly on flopANDturn doesn't make you more money necessarily

lets do a little thinking here

if you slow play and a club hits maybe someone with a queen will pay you a little, so you make more by not betting if no one has anything EXCEPT the queen of clubs (or the jack and the queen falls)

if someone has a set or a flush already you can make a lot of money by betting the flop, whereas if you slow play and the scare card (another club) hits before you put money in the pot, you have lost a lot of potential money

bet your hands, and bet them well. no slow play.

obviously rekrul is giving serious good advice, but think about it also in this way: pot odds. why would anyone want to risk a lot of money into a very small pot? making the pot bigger and making players commit themselves will maximize your wins much more than chekc ehck echkehckehckhekchekchekchkehc

you only make as much money as you bet - by checking you make $0, but if your happy with that then by all means check away

i always bet here, any lower flush will pay you his stack.. bet hard ( Pot or close to it ) if you don't get called it was a longshot you were going to win anything on this hand anyway...

if a low flush pays his stack in a 6 way unraised without K high flush he is a moron.

indeed ive seen people get their stacks with only a T or J of clubs and 4 club cards on the table.

BigBalls, its not that i dont appreciate your advices, but i kinda hate when you say "bah its 02/05.. do x", i know its penny tables, but i dont want to get maximium BB/100h you can get on these limits, i want to learn how to play, at micro going all-in preflop with AA isnt such a terrible move, but if i get that habit my AAs will never pay off on higher limits.

Thats what i want want when i ask for advice, learning how to properly play, rather than how to take advantage of uber fishes.

But i appreciate that you and rekrul take the time to reply

the only thing i change about my advice towards lower limits is that instead of betting in normal increments you bet the pot or more every time and you never bluff.

replace pot with 2/3 and you can apply most advice i give to higher limits

anyone with only the 5c for a 5-high FD is willing to get their stack in on the flop at this level.

do what bigballs says and read what rekrul said to understand why

Ok the reason why this level is easy is because these guys can't fold. So bet good hands and check/fold bad hands. Not the other way around please.

Well don,t put a too big bets on flop....around half pot...any pair, any club draw, any ace will call you. These guys's biggest nightmare is to be a bluffed even if never being bluffed cost them a lot of money.

james9994: make note dont play against floofy, ;(

bet bet bet the flop, at those stakes, you get paid off anyway ;D Someone with a trey of clubs will call ya in hopes of catching a might fluuushhh. They probably reason that you wouldn't be betting with made flush anyway but slowplaying it. Betting the pure nuts is often good since it's possible someone else made a good hand too. By betting you make lower flush draws pay and potentially will stack made lower flush, set or two pair or god knows on these stakes, maybe even top pair.
