what's up with the legal situation there: http://www.pokernews.com/news/2015/08...d-to-pass-new-gaming-regime-22505.htm

are they going to have segregated player pools soon?

hopefully we will follow the UK model and not Spains model, this is very important because what Mexico does will likely be followed by other latin american countries.

Since gambling isnt completely legal in many latin american countries this could be either the boom of online poker here or the death of it.

so basically nobody knows what will happen exactly, but everything will be status quo until June 2016 right?

semi-related question: are there any major sites currently inaccessible in Mexico?

"We've been saying the same thing since the beginning of all this and so far we're still right. All the supposed deadlines have come and gone multiple times. It might happen eventually but years from the original estimates and how it shapes out and affects Mexican and foreign players remains to be seen. It's sad for players who canceled their trips to Mexico last year for fear they would be blocked within 6 months, or by the end of 2014."
I think this quote pretty much sums it up.
