2 Ex-Federal Agents in Silk Road Case Are Charged With Fraud:
Two former federal agents have been charged with money laundering and fraud stemming from their investigation into Silk Road, the once-thriving black market website for drug dealing, a criminal complaint shows.
The former agents are Carl Mark Force IV, who worked for the Drug Enforcement Administration, and Shaun Bridges, who worked for the Secret Service.
Criminal complaint against Federal agents reveals that they had access to the Silk Road Administrator account, they extorted DPR, sold him false information, then took their funds to Mt. Gox. None of this revealed at trial!

Ross is the man for not taking a plea deal . Let it all come to light. Can you imagine just how dirty the FBi is for real?
The defense was not allowed to include this in Ulbrichts case. You'd think the agents directly involved in conspiring to steal DPRs money, then pressure him to murder for hire, while bribing him, staging a fake murder for hire, and then dumping all that money in their own private bank accounts would be considered a 'conflict of interest.'
None of this information was allowed to be presented for the Defense. You'd think if the Jury knew that the people responsible for the investigation were going to jail for their efforts, there may have been a mistrial?
Lets hope Ulbricht gets his appeal!

Neither of the agents are FBI...
semantics, to be more precise "can you imagine how often these corrupt federal agencies with such wide reaching powers and low accountability abuse their power?"

So instead of
"Ulbricht had several people killed to protect his business"
its
"Actually no one was harmed, but we stole a lot of money"

does the fact that, in the alleged murder for hire there really was no victim(s), and it was all illegally orchestrated by federal agents ,mean anything? If it wasn't a legit investigation, how can it be a legit trial?

ya i didnt follow the trial or the sentencing at all but no way he wont go to jail just because he was grifted. i cant even imagine him getting an appeal from this. he still intended to, and paid for people to kill other people for his own benefit and as far as i know, he wasnt even convicted on murder charges so its irrelevant. hes in jail for drug trafficking and money laundering... being in charge of the silk road, it seems like those charges are pretty accurate.
